Bottom post of the previous page:

I do like the digital meetings with everyone there, probably is some evolutionary thing having to do with our species being social or something like that. I guess it is easier to survive and have a society when not everyone has to be a master of everything? I managed to get 100 cards for a second day in a row and can't say I am convinced yet about reviewing material, but I will stick to it and see what kinds of gains I can get! Now I just need to read and sell puppies!

Hey there Angie! I am unfortunately still looking, I really don't understand why I am not having much more success, but thanks for checking! Hopefully soon I will find more homes though!

What is the ideal climate for a german shepherd? Probably a bit cooler I imagine.

Check out Club 100 Membership Rules ... got a few questions for you guys!

It really depends on the shepherd, however, these will have a somewhat thick short-hair coat for the most part, so they will prefer cooler climates. My dogs are pretty happy at any temperature below 80 but they will put up with higher temperatures if they have shade and plenty of water. I think we had an okay class today and will check the post to see what I can say!

Yeah the class is getting great feedback actually! My family met up last night for dinner to open a gift that Angie made for my parents and sent here (which was EPIC - a custom oil/acrylic portrait of them from their wedding day!!) - and we actually discussed the class that was going on and how epic it was that it was happening!

So yeah buddy maybe your ears were ringing as lots of positive compliments and vibes were sent your way!

It is really cool that Angie was able to send such a nice gift up to the states! This 100 club thing is rather time consuming, but being able to review information and ensure I don't forget it should be worth it in the long run! I really need to figure out the best times of day for me to be productive, because it seems like I have a time of peak productivity where I can get much more done, but it usually happens to start in the evening. Thinking about it, all throughout my time in school I was most productive in the evening.

It has made a HUGE difference for me in my Anki studying... like looking at my heatmap its quite obvious lol. Kinda funny how a club within our group was what it took to motivate me but hey, I think whats cool about what we do is we have all these different ways to motivate us and prompt us to do things at once! Different tactics and techniques!

I wonder if its a genetic difference in the circadian rhythm of our cells. Because if I get up too late my productivity is never as good. Well now that I have these conditionals it seems to be a good fallback but speaking in terms of life 'pre-i+1'.

I get the feeling that there may be a genetic component to circadian rhythms which has not been thoroughly researched. I mean, in the past we, as a species, would have benefited greatly from having some individuals able to stay up at night and mind the fire, keeping it from going out or spreading unduly. I have found that no matter how little or how much sleep I get I always feel tired until a certain time. Even when I go backpacking or was living out of my car and getting woken up super early by heat and noise I have had a hard time getting to bed early. It is rather frustrating because it makes holding a normal job kind of suck and there is a stigma associated with being up late and sleeping in late, even if you sleep less than other people do. I am surprised I have managed to hit at least 100 cards every day thus far, but I am having trouble hitting an hour of sustained reading immediately after finishing my longer anki study.

We still need to figure out a way to get reading -> anki (or a future app). Now that I know the brain is designed more as a filter and the natural turned-on state is that of decay aka forgetting... seems like I wasted a lot of time years past reading and studying but then not having any 'second brain' system ready to keep that knowledge and remind me to do my reps!

Reading then doing Anki could also be promising, although right now I am nowhere near caught up with my flash cards to where I have read to, but having some adding every week seems to be somewhat helpful.
