Bottom post of the previous page:

CpG island (CGI) promoters... give me the car salesman speech on why I should care about these?

Also, you know about sci-hub right? To be able to see that article.

Oh I know what it is, but I would never do something illegal! Also, they are important because the majority (~80% if I recall correctly) of human gene expression is controlled by CpG island promoters, therefore better understanding how they work would be beneficial if one wishes to understand disorders arising from inappropriate expression of genes controlled by them.

Yo yo... have you synced recently?

Tried to check out your Anki to see that insane streak and get a photo of the heatmap but it said: "Your Anki client does not support the new timezone handling yet. Please switch to the legacy handling in the computer version's Preferences screen." Which I thought was an issue but I think it could also be because you haven't synchronized. Since I last have data for March 27th.

I have not synced this week, I had that error pop up and have been trying to figure out what exactly to do about it, it seems like I can change it, but I am not sure. I also ended up adding on windows and then doing cards on windows but forgot to sync and had been holding off in case that causes any problems. I will probably be tackling that tomorrow along with audios!

Gotcha, its something we can look at during our check-in!

Today has been a rather hectic day. I have been somewhat productive thus far, but too many unexpected complications have come up. Also, I find that I am running into a recurring problem where other people find it harder to make it to appointments to see puppies than I have when it comes to making it to appointments in general. Usually I wouldn't mind this, but when they don't notify me and I am stuck unable to do anything it is somewhat frustrating, especially if I am supposed to be doing something like having a check-in with teacher.

Today has been somewhat productive, especially since we found out that my webcam wasn't showing up in google meet due to that background I set up a long while back!

Yes dude that was epic!

Why is it that even in a virtual meeting its more fun to see everyone? And seems like there is better camaraderie? Is there some evolutionary design for wanting to see the face/the eyes when speaking or something do you figure?

I do like the digital meetings with everyone there, probably is some evolutionary thing having to do with our species being social or something like that. I guess it is easier to survive and have a society when not everyone has to be a master of everything? I managed to get 100 cards for a second day in a row and can't say I am convinced yet about reviewing material, but I will stick to it and see what kinds of gains I can get! Now I just need to read and sell puppies!
