Crushing it Marcus! I really liked those audio requests you made as well, definitely are going to go in my own Anki!

Well hopefully I can keep up the good work, although it might get a little difficult what with my dog getting ready to have puppies at some point in the next week.

I may have been productive today, but being productive at on the PC and being productive in physical reality are two rather different things.

These past few days I have been taking advantage of having things that I have to do in order to fill out my ABC plan, it is pretty nifty!

Care to share the experience(s) that lead to this insight?

I would say that the most noticeable difference is how tangible the results of physical labor are. When you are doing more abstract work like reading or studying it is hard to really get a feel for how much you have done. This is not the case with doing something physically, especially for something like woodworking where you can see the results of your work in real-time.

Dang, truer than true! Chop some wood, in an hours time you can see a LOT of work done. But start training your mind to learn a language, or your body to be more physically fit? Changes happen so slowly that you basically NEVER notice them. I still think I was born being able to understand Spanish and in generally good shape haha I legit forgot what it was like...

It is rather strange how through almost imperceptible changes over time one can arrive at a completely different place than where one once was. The strangest part about it for me is that, after a while, the way things were in the past almost feels as though it were a dream. Now that I have gotten most of the craziness with puppies out of the way I hope that I can get things back on track to accomplishing other goals...maybe I should add greater flexibility, both physically and mentally to my goals list.

Great idea!

Note: also don't forget to submit your RUNA (still!). It will help keep us on track for the 'candy pool'. Right now I have you at 5/7 (total donated $2) - since you missed two days this week! I'm at $4 .... but hey, its for a good cause!

I will be getting that RUNA submitted but I don't mind chipping in some money for candy, I already bought plenty for myself after all. Those vaccinations though, the injection didn't hurt but now I feel like someone punched me in the arm pretty hard.
