This has happened to me before, here are some tips:1) Make a new profile, call it whatever (maybe ACA Path).
2) Import the deck there
3) Find the media folder for this profile in your computer (According to google: "On Windows, the latest Anki versions store your Anki files in your appdata folder. You can access it by opening the file manager, and typing %APPDATA%\Anki2 in the location field. Older versions of Anki stored your Anki files in a folder called Anki in your Documents folder."
4) Copy those files and paste into your own media folder
5) They say to do another media check but I am not sure that is totally necessary... (I don't actually listen to those checks or see how they are useful but I do do them from time to time. when Google tells me to hah)
Some people do this on every import to keep their own Profile neat and tidy. I need to get a bit better on that front but also I really only give out cards and when I do download from others they are fellow Explorers (downloading pre-made cards is a huge waste of time, doesn't use our "Personal" key (aka the self-referential effect).
