Bottom post of the previous page:

Reading then doing Anki could also be promising, although right now I am nowhere near caught up with my flash cards to where I have read to, but having some adding every week seems to be somewhat helpful.

Changing routines isn't the easiest thing to do, but it does seem like it could help out if done right. I was also thinking about the app and how we could have some sort of visual representation of habit actions. If you have ever seen how people can program things visually it would be something like that. Basically you could set up your habit actions as modular things that you can fit into a schedule to ensure that you do things each day at the right times in the right order. If you have a problem you can drag and drop them to re-order them once they are established and then you can complete a check-in by going through and checking them off digitally after you complete them. https://docs.unrealengine.com/4.26/en-U ... lueprints/ is a link to a page which shows how it is used in the unreal game engine to get an idea of what I am talking about.

Love that idea.

I have thought a lot about ways to adapt it and drag and drop seems incredibly intuitive.

Clearly it is going to take a lot of different versions to nail it down and allow Explorers the kind of flexibility to play with it and find new things that we can't even think of now (or that a developer would have in mind). Like my sub-conditional idea that is actually working really well for me now!

Clicked on your link, is there any one area in particular I should check out? Obviously the whole Unreal Engine is quite complex and beyond my pay grade hah

The main thing to look into is the way that the visual blueprint based programming works, it is a very intuitive way to define programatic operations in a visual manner where you lay out the steps visually and how they are connected to one another. I have been running disk repairs and error checking all day again today so I am still waiting to get windows running, but hopefully that will be done soon.

Dang, very cool. I took a lot of notes on our chat with the branching, the virtual reality, the memory palace "rooms" with trophies, etc. Can't wait to see that come to life!

PS: Remember you can record the audios for Arley in browser if need be. Even on a cell phone if need be. It can't be that Mr. IT can't record these bad boys... you got this!

Much obliged! I thought I posted a response yesterday but I guess I didn't hit submit or wait long enough after hitting it? I was able to finally get everything seemingly running well, so that's nice at least. I will have to get those audios recorded for Arley and make some requests as well, but I may do so tomorrow. Also Angie, it sounds complex but is actually really intuitive once you see how it works, I bet you would think it was a pretty neat way to get stuff done once you had tried out!

Yes please Marcus! Nobody wants my recording of my slang-filled too-fast Chicago garbled gobbedy-gook! I wonder if it would be convenient for us to ever just get a looooong passage recording and have it saved... to use as backup for our partners so they have something to add that week in case we are otherwise unable to!

Also its kind of cool because its like a time capsule / audio encyclopedia. The forums are our written legacy and the audio board our acoustic one!

That is a rather interesting way to think about it, and I think that the long passages would also have some potential for extracting audio. Would be pretty neat to be able to get access to lots of audio books from people who are well regarded as proper english speakers and use clips from there to get some recordings!
