In case you don't have the link or cant find it via whatsapp.

Also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mzwUeM ... AExplorers is the video where I walk through the check-in process.

Any progress uploading the class to the channel? I sent Will my brother the drive video (since he not only paid for a ticket but did so expressly interested in the recording since he couldn't make it but I guess he vibes with "Cooking with Chemistry") unfortunately, the quality just isn't that good - it never is compared to local recordings.

If you need any help let me know!

Thanks for the tinyurl, good idea! I originally saved the videos in a format that my editing program doesn't like but have since converted them and will get them uploaded, I have been trying to get this time-lapse tool to work so that I can reduce the amount of time spent watching dripping oil on the second attempt I did, but will let you know if youtube throws any errors. Hopefully the quality is sufficient.

Yeah well even if it isnt perfect, at least it will be something to send that Will and others can watch. And then for your next Cooking with Chemistry you can make it even better! Awwww yeahhhhhh

I have been trying to mess with the audio track to normalize out the voices of the people in the call with the audio I recorded but I think I will just download a copy of the google video call and synchronize the audio tracks instead. I unfortunately forgot about that when initially recording and it is super hard to hear anything other than me. If I get that done I feel that I will have an i+1 day today!

I managed to get the video edited and the audio synced and normalized, but when I saved it the program crashed and corrupted the save. I guess my technomancy is running rampant once more. Luckily I have not had any housefires as a result, so I guess I can't complain too much. Also, my eye is finally working again, so that's awesome!

I went and checked that video before uploading it and am glad I did, for some reason it made everything look super washed out, so I changed some settings and will try again today!

I would say that today has been an i+1 day, for even though I didn't get enough sleep I did end up completing several tasks I had set out to do this morning. Maybe I will even get to bed early!

Dang Marcus that is the definition of an i+1 day, way to go!! Heck you've molded a LOT about what an i+1 day even means. Doing "the Marcus" is officially (and extremely intelligently) using the reward as a means to link (like a Chain but not even considering it as one) to another habit. Not only does it "re frame" having to do the habit as something you GET to do (Rather than 'have to') but it also helps fortify the original Habit Action by linking it in a chain!

My lumbar thanks you! (As that was the original reward you did that sparked this)

Much obliged! I am glad to hear that I am not the only one doing that, lol. I feel like I was probably subconsciously inspired to reframe ideas by learning of the concept of reframing stressful situations as exciting to make them more enjoyable a while back. My biggest issue is getting distracted part-way through a task or chain, at which point I end up failing to complete it, but I feel it may be tricky for me to completely avoid that.

Could be the case, happens to me too. But the nice thing is that before you realize it your 'new normal' is a lot higher and so even if you don't complete the full routine, you are doing much MORE than you used to.

Like I just reviewed 100 cards, stretched, and am doing forum posts now and none of that is even going to really earn me a Habit Tracker X and even an i (for an i+1 Moment) would be pushing it for any one of the routines that those Habits belong too.... but still as a result I am still doing them and still doing more than I was doing a year ago! Not to mention the stretching I did on a google meet so finally get a very basic (not even sound) recording of my stretching routine out there - turning lemons into lemonade!

So even a day like today for me I could consider an i+1 day because of that.
