Bottom post of the previous page:

Yes, I think that would be a good motion and I will just find a place where I can set up my science equipment and carry out the experiments without the wind going crazy on me. Having a plan B is definitely a good idea, but I didn't really have the option to show up and talk about anything since the entire reason I couldn't present was related to the large tent that was sliding around knocking everything over, it kind of forced me to stop everything I was doing and take everything that was outside inside in a hurry. I mean, even with two other people helping me glassware still got broken, so I don't want to imagine what would have happened had I been on my own.

I mean I agree, in part. There really isn't an option we have to miss these. However, that doesn't mean there aren't legit things that could happen. What it does mean is we need a better backup system. Like have a person ready to go with a Plan B in case something happens. I mean my internet here in this town goes out for days at a time. I can buy data sure but that isn't always reliable. Its been fortunate I haven't missed any of my classes but what if it does happen? I would hope someone would step in and at least do something even if its just keeping the group interested by chatting. Not sure but it does point to something we need a solution for!

A better backup system is definitely a good idea, maybe I will make that a motion for next week. Todays i+1 has gone pretty well, somewhat chaotic but not bad.

Today was a somewhat productive day, but I found that I managed to strongly hinder my own progress by misplacing a screw. I guess that there are some times when the benefits of a small container to organize and store easily lost objects far outweight the cost of time associated with relocating said objects.

Today was a rather productive day in which I managed to get all of my ABCs done in addition to other tasks! Hopefully I can get to a point where every day is like this out of habit!

Much obliged, hopefully the event goes well, my only worry is not having enough space, but I am sure I can figure something out!

Well I remember posting yesterday, but it looks like it disappeared. I have had an okay day when it comes to i+1 today, hopefully I can get my 1 hour of molec bio in without too much trouble!

I am glad to see that the forum is back up! Today and yesterday have both been pretty productive for me, I have almost finished adding a switch and power LED to my centrifuge and the day is still young!

Here goes another attempt to post, with any luck this will go through and we will not have any further forum problems! I have been doing a bit of catch up today, trying to ensure I don't miss out on anything, but it is tricky to balance increased productivity with avoiding burnout. I do think that having habits and an ABC plan are definitely a good way to do it though, but changing ingrained habits is rather tricky.
