Bottom post of the previous page:

I just got the covid test today. Can’t wait for my third shot. It’s a miracle these vaccines I say!

It is pretty great how quickly they could be manufactured thanks to modern biotechnology! I learned today that the earliest I am going to be able to get my third shot may very well be in two weeks. I am probably going to try and get the phizer since I have had 2 moderna already and feel like the slight differences between the two may provide better protection by adding a potential source of variation. That trip up to the mountains really took up a lot of time, but at least the puppies got to go to a puppy park!

I am pretty glad we pushed back the event, it would have been difficult for me to do today. On the other hand, I need to start doing more exercise, for some reason eating half a dozen cookies a day seems to be causing me to put on some weight! Today I was somewhat productive, but I still feel I am falling short of my goals.

It is hard to believe, but it is already the 25th! I hope everyone is having a good holiday season! I got some more cards added and a good number of cards reviewed, but failed to drink water first thing today. I did get some rest, but unfortunately one of the pups started puking late at night and I was up very late watching him, but at least he seems okay today!

I managed to drink some water today, so that kind of helped me get my day off to a good start, but it was hindered by having my sleep repeatedly interrupted, so it feels like those two factors nullified each other. On the other hand, I remembered to turn on my music when working and was able to get much more work done. It is pretty crazy how much of an impact an ingrained habit can have!

Agreed! I am liking having these mini habits to start off the day. Kind of tough to say no to them even on days I WANT to be lazy hah... its like 1) they are too easy to complete and 2) they happen so early in the day its like my brain doesnt have time to figure out how to come up with a procrastination plan so easily lol!

The hardest part of procrastination for me is when I get distracted mid-task and then have to get back to it. Oftentimes it just doesn't even happen for hours while I end up doing other things before realizing what has happened! The holiday season this year feels really weird, wonder when people will stop claiming Covid is a big liberal hoax to sell vaccines...

Still not feeling great, hopefully tomorrow I will be done with this. Huge fires today, hundreds of homes burned.

Feeling a little better today, not great but was able to get 20 cards done and feel like I should be back to normal here soon, kinda a weird way to end 2021.

Finally able to take some NSAIDs and not have a pounding headache! Managed to get some cards done, spent the rest of the day working on a new raspberry pi 4 image to see if they are at a point where they can replace a normal computer. Thus far the only thing that is tricky is getting mathematica for pi set up on a red had based system.
