Bottom post of the previous page:

I still find myself tired throughout most of the day, regardless of how much sleep I get. It is quite the vexing issue, but I did manage to get some paperwork updated and discovered that the volvo dealer that replaced my battery failed to install a drain tube, despite the exorbitant prices they charged! No matter, the sun may have set, but the day is not yet over!

Looking forward to tomorrow's meeting, managed to repair a fence and am ready to get some tires changed and check on a window, then I should be good on car work for the foreseeable future! Python is a pretty neat language, but much different than what I am used to.

Very cool, what are you more used to? Assembly? Binary???

I am more used to things like Clojure, and Wolfram Language. They are both functional programming languages and also make use of LisP or List Processing, in which functions can be defined as lists of operations and values. Today I was able to get some of the major car work done, but I will probably have to put the rest off due to snow. At least I don't have to worry about snow making programming impossible!

Wow, thats really cool. I had heard about Clojure but know nothing about it...

What is the first project/program your Python book has you doing?

I have been just doing really basic stuff like easy math functions that raise an input to an arbitrary power or take the coefficients of a quadratic equation and a value of x then give you the answer thus far. I am sure it will get more advanced as I go further in. I wrote an entire program in Clojure to deal with gene datasets once, but I really need to re-do it and optimize it some time. I managed to do some good reading thus far, but I hope to also get some adding done and maybe get in a bit more of the molec bio. Not sure how much I need to focus on the linear algebra at the moment since I have not had to use it at all for anything. Probably should be doing some inorganic or physical chemistry while doing the linear algebra.

Got my Anki and Posting done early today! Hopefully can keep it up tomorrow!

I managed to get started earlier today, but almost immediately got sidetracked by some other stuff. Luckily I was able to take care of it and get my anki done before it got too late, so not too bad overall!

I managed to get 100 cards in today, but I am not sure how people can do it regularly. Even if I get plenty of sleep and have energy drinks I start drifting off and getting sleepy when doing Anki study. Now to see how much more I can get done while the sun is still shining!

Congrats!!!

You need easier cards. A separate deck or tags to get 100 in. In fact, I don’t know how people don’t get 100 with that in mind hah! I just added another math fact too to make sure I keep my adding streak up.

Basic trig stuff. Mental health stuff. Teaching stuff. Binary stuff. Etc. Pretty basic.

Then my second session of Anki is more legit/harder Spanish cards.

I managed to get to 140 cards today, but it was definitely not what I would call easy, took me almost an hour! I will probably try and make some easier molec bio cards to make it less time consuming, but I won't see those until I get through the ones I initially made, lol. Pretty good progress today, next I need to post about the feature I think the app must have and then get to studying new material!
