Bottom post of the previous page:
This has happened to me before, here are some tips:
1) Make a new profile, call it whatever (maybe ACA Path).
2) Import the deck there
3) Find the media folder for this profile in your computer (According to google: "On Windows, the latest Anki versions store your Anki files in your appdata folder. You can access it by opening the file manager, and typing %APPDATA%\Anki2 in the location field. Older versions of Anki stored your Anki files in a folder called Anki in your Documents folder."
4) Copy those files and paste into your own media folder
5) They say to do another media check but I am not sure that is totally necessary... (I don't actually listen to those checks or see how they are useful but I do do them from time to time. when Google tells me to hah)
Some people do this on every import to keep their own Profile neat and tidy. I need to get a bit better on that front but also I really only give out cards and when I do download from others they are fellow Explorers (downloading pre-made cards is a huge waste of time, doesn't use our "Personal" key (aka the self-referential effect). I wasted years studying premade cards that I now remember extremely little of...

Also, on Google Classroom I basically did that for you just now and uploaded a zip file of the ACA Path media folder!
Won't let me link direct so just join the classroom with that key code to join our classroom

Thanks for looking into it, I will see if I can get any of those suggestions to work! I also think we had a great meeting today, thanks for setting aside time to come to it!

Yeah, it was really great! I definitely missed being with you guys, very inspirational, always such well-crafted RUNAs. I also feel like I can make any change to the RUNA and you somehow get it... must be a smart guy! Almost like you graduated double major in two STEM degrees or something! hah!
ACA Explorers best of the best brightest of the pack baby!

Much obliged guys, I am very glad you found the event enjoyable! I am not sure about how bright I am, but I will take your word for it, thanks! Maillardized onions are the way of the future and can be a good specialty dish for folks starting down the path of learning about Maillard reactions in general! I have gotta get these posts going again, but have been having a bit of trouble what with lots of re-organization and folks visiting, it is weird how many different distractions can show up at all times.

True true but at least this journal is always interesting and easy to comment on! Sometimes you have some real valuable i+1 insights too that I don't want to miss out on - always worth it to stop by Marcus' i+1 diary what what!

Hi Marcus, I sure understand the distraction part. I have a few people needing my attention often. That takes me away from getting my acá and anki work done.

It has been a while but I figured I would try and update my i+1 thread on the forum, maybe I can get back in the hang of routinely updating it!

It seems like it is easier to do this journal after I have finished my tasks for the day, but I was trying to do it once I finished submitting my anki study, I will have to consider ways to make this process more streamlined.
